It's black tea boiled perfectly with evaporated milk and a rich blend of spices like cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and sometimes star anise.
The process of making it is traditional in my country Yemen, especially in the city Aden, which was a colonized city by the British at the time, so it's nit strange if a British person at the time tried it.
I would recommend Mr. Utterson to try this tea because it smells and taste good. This is the only way I ever drink tea, and I promise he will like it."
