But if they would be approx. the same age, it means they would constantly fight. I mean, every siblings fight but not when they have a 20-year age difference. If it's only 3 years, it's more possible. |

💌I imagine that Philippe wouldn’t have had much influence over Raoul if they were only three years apart. Raoul might have treated his brother more casually, too. Philippe probably wouldn’t have felt the same sense of responsibility for Raoul. For example, at the end of Part 3, the real Philippe desperately searched for Raoul—but if he were only three years older, perhaps he would have simply reported it to the police. That doesn’t mean he didn’t cherish his younger brother, though! |

In the original play, Ophelia is portrayed as a somewhat naive but kind-hearted young girl.
Over time, she has been reinterpreted in countless ways across different media—and in the 21st century, some adaptations have even reimagined her as a strong, independent woman.
MazM chose to stay true to the original: MazM's Ophelia remains gentle and innocent, but we made sure she would have a meaningful impact on Hamlet.
As we strengthened the branching choices in Hamlet, we aimed to amplify the romantic tension—or perhaps something more dreadful—between them.
