Dear ,
Eleanor here to bring you a special MazM Letter.
In the last "Behind the Game" segment, we introduced our development team's leader to all of you. Did you enjoy reading it? π
Today, we continue with the stories we shared previously. Specifically, this time, we focus on the relationship between the users who played "Jekyll and Hyde" and our development team.
So, please enjoy it and have fun.
"People Behind the Game" will feature developers who directly participated in the development of previously released MazM games. We'll interview them and introduce various aspects they experienced to our supporters. |

People Behind the Game - Jekyll and Hyde Part 2 |
|
|
Q. What were the most frequently asked questions by players while playing "Jekyll and Hyde"?
A. The most common questions were, "Why aren't there any ads?" and "Is this a bug?" It seems like, from a player's perspective, ensuring that the game runs smoothly is of the utmost importance.
These issues were diligently addressed and resolved by our customer support team, marketers, programmers, and game designers, as per the feedback provided by all of you. |
|
|
Q. How did the feedback from players impact the game development?
A. The feedback had the most significant influence on the game's usability and in-game items. For example, in the initial version of "Jekyll and Hyde", players sometimes got lost as they didn't know where to go or what to do in the game. The current features like the magnifying glass and speech bubble buttons were the results of numerous experiments and discussions within the team.
To address such issues, a lot of research and experimentation were conducted, which led to improvements in usability. These insights have continued to influence game development and taught us many valuable lessons.

Q. From a creator's perspective, what do you think is the most memorable moment in "Jekyll and Hyde" that will stick with the players?
A. There are numerous moments, but I would pick Utterson's final scene. Also, the entire sequence from when the credits roll to the title screen with "Only Void Remains" playing is quite memorable! |
|
|
Q. Are there any hidden Easter eggs in the game?
A. Many players may have already discovered it, but there is the poster for "The Phantom of the Opera", which was scheduled as the next project back in 2017. In the case of "Jekyll and Hyde", we didn't really think about including Easter eggs related to the previous work.
By the way, the "Detective" related elements began to take shape with "The Phantom of the Opera".

|
Q. Do you have any messages for the players who are enjoying "Jekyll and Hyde"?
A. Thank you so much for your love and support for "Jekyll and Hyde", While it may be challenging to continue the story of "Jekyll and Hyde" as a game right now, we would like to share various pieces of information with you.
Still, I was able to relieve some of my disappointment by unraveling the prequel story of 'Jekyll and Hyde' in 'Hyde and Seek'. |

Well, we're wrapping up the first session of "Behind the Game" just like this.
Supporters, did you enjoy the read? π
Conducting these interviews has allowed me to hear stories I hadn't thought about when playing the game, making it an intriguing experience, and hearing various behind-the-scenes tales from the developers' perspective has been quite enjoyable.
In the next "Behind the Game", we'll meet team members from different professions who have worked on other games, sharing a wider range of stories. π
Please look forward to it!
+ We're curious about what supporters think of the Special MazM Letter!
Were you satisfied? Is there anything else you'd like to hear about? Is there anything you'd like us to improve? Even a small feeling is fine!
If you have any stories you'd like to share with us, please leave them in the Discord channel!π¬
Have a great day!
