, you’ve already met some of the characters from The Black Cat: Usher’s Legacy(hereafter referred to as “The Black Cat”). Now, let me give you a little sneak peek into its storyline. 📕 |

Do you remember how The Phantom of the Opera unfolds its story as the characters recall their past events? Similarly, The Black Cat uses a narrative structure that reflects on the past from the present. However, what sets the two apart is that The Black Cat adopts a reverse chronological storytelling style, inspired by the Korean movie "Peppermint Candy". This means events are revealed in reverse order, starting with what happened most recently and moving backward in time. Together with the twins, Roderick and Madeline, you’ll uncover the hidden past and secrets of the Usher family! (Warning: expect some conflict, injury, and death💀)

🐞 Unveiling Unseen Concept Art from Kafka's Metamorphosis! |

After asking MazMians, I've discovered that many were curious about the design process for various characters from Kafka's Metamorphosis. Among them, the most popular character was Franz Kafka's younger sister, Ottla Kafka! Thank you for sharing your opinions. |

MazM spent a lot of time crafting Ottla's appearance. Since Ottla was a "sweet and kind younger sister" character, which MazM hadn’t explored before, it was important to visually emphasize her unwavering support for Franz. At the same time, MazM wanted to convey that Ottla’s personality was closer to her father Hermann's than Franz's. If you look closely, you'll notice that Franz resembles his mother Julie, while Ottla takes after her father Hermann. Finally, since there’s a significant age gap between Ottla and Franz, MazM enhanced the "YOUNGER sister" vibe with design elements like her hair and ribbons. |
