Romeo: A Melancholic Yet Passionate Lover 🌹 |

MazM had read the original story and imagined Romeo as a delicate yet strong-willed teenage boy. That’s why he was designed to have a slender and pure image rather than a traditionally masculine look!
But that doesn’t mean Romeo only appears weak. He makes difficult choices for the people he loves and knows how to express his boundless love for Juliet. ❤️
His black hair was chosen to create a strong contrast with Juliet! |

Juliet: A Tough-Talking Girl with a Tender Heart |

MazM interpreted Juliet as a bold and modern character. Her design was based on the idea that she is willing to do anything for love. At the same time, she also has moments of insecurity and vulnerability, which were carefully incorporated into her character.
Although Juliet takes the lead in romantic situations, deep down, she still gets shy. 😊
Her overall design was inspired by birds—especially the lovebird!

MazM’s Romeo and Juliet follows the original story by focusing on the love between the two protagonists. However, we’ve also worked to make their romance feel even more convincing while highlighting the supporting characters.
