It’s already August! Just thinking that it might be even hotter than July makes me a little nervous… I miss the summers of childhood, when it was warm enough to go outside and play without worrying too much. I truly hope everyone working or walking around outside stays safe and well. |

📢 Notice: Future Change in MazM Letter Delivery Schedule |

, starting from August 8th, it seems we’ll need to send out the MazM Letter every two weeks instead of every week… I’m truly sad and a little heartbroken that I won’t be able to write to you as often. Still, I want to keep sharing news about MazM with you and continue telling you stories.
The next MazM Letter after the one on August 8th will arrive on August 22nd. I’m so sorry to be delivering this news so suddenly.
As for the Special MazM Letter, it will continue to be sent every other week as before. |

[Hamlet💀] Meet King Claudius, the man at the heart of the conspiracy! |

., in Hamlet: Prince of the East, based on Shakespeare’s Hamlet, the protagonist Hamlet experiences the sudden loss of his father. He begins to suspect that the one responsible for his father’s death is none other than King Claudius—his uncle and now stepfather. Why? Because Claudius had long lived under the shadow of his older brother, and he harbored an intense desire for power. |

Claudius’s design was inspired by the image of a king from the Silla dynasty. In particular, his crown was based on the golden crowns of Silla, but intentionally redesigned to evoke the feeling of “withered branches,” as if something has decayed. But is Claudius truly the murderer? Or is he plotting something even more sinister behind the scenes? Or perhaps, he is simply a pitiful man falsely accused? All will be revealed in October! |

[Hamlet💀] Meet the gloomy and ill-fated queen, Gertrude! |
|
|
Queen Gertrude is Hamlet’s mother and has been queen to both the former and current kings. Hamlet is deeply unhappy that she married his uncle—especially since his uncle had a strained relationship with both Hamlet and his late father. Although Gertrude had lived a life that felt almost abandoned by her previous husband, however, Hamlet is always ready to criticize her choices since he thinks she betrayed her former husband(Hamlet's father) and him. Gertrude, on the other hand, is so emotionally attached to her son that she spends more time making excuses than truly responding to his accusations. |

Queen Gertrude’s design is based on a spider, reinterpreting the traditional attire of 10th-century Unified Silla and Tang Dynasty. To add depth to her character—abandoned by her husband and obsessed with her son—MazM envisioned her as a princess from a foreign land. A princess who endured over twenty years in an enemy nation with no one on her side... could she really be innocent of the king’s death? Find out this October in Hamlet: Prince of the East! |

On her special day, Melek plans to enjoy Turkish coffee and sweet desserts with her family and friends. She's also preparing some small treats just for her cats! She says she's happy now that she can finally enjoy as much of her favorite coffee as she likes. |

Mr. Richard is throwing a small party with his close musician friends. Perhaps after the party, they'll all head to a concert together? (Well, everyone except Mr. Moncharmin, who doesn't enjoy music at all!) |

, the time has finally come to reveal the “Hyde” acrostic poem! So many wonderful poems celebrating Hyde’s birthday kept arriving even after his big day, so we ended up sharing them two weeks later!

Hyde: “The MazMians whipped up all sorts of poems about me — and I must say, I had quite the laugh reading through them! Never thought they could bend rhyme and rhythm to their will like that. Now, the one I liked most? This little number right here. Why? Because it felt like a proper warning to the dimwits of London about yours truly. I daresay it could make a splendid little tune as well! Ha! Etch the name Edward Hyde into that thick skull of yours, nice and sharp!”
Dr, Jekyll: "I say, Hyde—have you forgotten those days when you could scarcely step outside, being a wanted man and all?"
Hyde: "That’s because you’ve got all that money and still don’t know how to bloody use it! Useless old fool, the lot of you."
